that, in our opinion, this petition can be disposed of by issuing the following directions :-

(i) The petitioners to file complaint with the Police Station in whose jurisdiction major poultry markets are situated and where the birds are transported.
(ii) On such complaint being filed, the Police Inspector in charge of the Police Station to carry out monitoring of the area to see that the vehicles transporting the birds comply with the provisions of the Act and the Animals Rules and to file compliance report before this Court initially every month for a period of three months.
With the above observations, the petition is disposed of.
