CORAM:- V.C. DAGA AND A.B. CHAUDHARI, JJ. DATED :- 25.11.2010
Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners.
The issue sought to be raised by the petitioners is receiving attention of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No.196/2001 (People's Union For Civil Liberties...Versus...Union of India & Ors.).
In this view of the matter, it is not necessary for this Court to go into the same question once again especially when the matter is pending before the Hon'ble Apex Court.
So far as petitioners are concerned, their individual grievance can be looked into through the machinery provided under the Statute.
Petitioners would be at liberty to take appropriate steps as are available in law.
Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of. No order as
to costs.
