1 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail. The applicant is shown as an accused in C.R.No.346/2009 registered by Shirur Police station for alleged offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 326, 307 & 324 of IPC. The police have recorded the statement of the injured who implicates the applicant and attributes an assault by sword on his part. Statement is prima facie corroborated by the medical evidence. The history indicates assault by sword. There is a occipital fracture with amputation of left ring finger. Taking into account these facts, in my view, not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Hence, application is rejected.
