.This Application by accused Laxman

seeks his enlargement on bail, as he has been

arrested for the offence punishable under
Sections 302, 201 & 419 of the Indian Penal
Code.

2.The Applicant allegedly had an
Insurance Policy for Rs.18,00,000/-. He was

addicted to liquor. In order to get Insurance
money, he caused one Santosh Jadhav to be
killed and burnt at his farm house, left his

own Motorcycle, Mobile phone and clothes at
the site and went away to make it appear that
in fact he had died. Since the Applicant was
missing, the police were informed and it was
found that ashes and remnants of one burnt

body were found near farm house. The
Applicant is alleged to have contacted one of
his relations and inquired about the police
investigation. Thus, police came to know that
the Applicant was alive and therefore, caught
him. He is stated to have told the police as
to how he killed Santosh Jadhav for the sake
of making a show that he himself died.

3.Investigation in the case is complete

and the accused has been charge sheeted after
he was arrested in the year April, 2009.

4.With the help of both the learned
Counsel, I have gone through statements
recorded by the police and other police
papers.

5.Considering nature of circumstantial
evidence gathered by the police, Applicant may
have to be released on bail. Hence,
