IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO. 1822 OF 2009
Shailesh Vijay Gadade ..... ..... ...Applicant V/s The State of Maharashtra ..... ..... ...Respondent.
Mr.O.A.Siddiqui and Mr.Rajendra Rathod Adv. for the applicant. Mr.J.P.Yagnik, Adv. for the Respondent.
CORAM: A.P.DESHPANDE, J. 10th August, 2009.
PC:
My attention is invited to the order passed by Justice V.M. Kanade dated 30.7.09 on an application moved by co-accused for bail whereby learned Judge after rejecting the bail application had issued a direction to expedite the trial and decide the case within a period of three months. In view of said direction I am informed that the prosecution is expeditiously taken up and about 40 witnesses are already examined. Learned APP submits that only 3 to 4 witnesses are yet to be examined. In that view of the matter learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application. Permission granted. Application stands disposed of.
