1. The grievance of the petitioners is that the land
allotted to them as displaced persons was cancelled by
virtue of the impugned order on the pretext that the
land had to be allotted to the respondent No.6, who was
also a displaced person, but on facts the respondent

No.6 was already having another piece of land.
2. On instructions from Mr. A.D.Chavan, District
Resettlement Officer, Kolhapur, who is present in the
Court, the learned Government Pleader submits that the
impugned order dated 27.6.2008 is being withdrawn
immediately and the land would be restored to the
petitioners. In view of this statement, no further
orders are required to be passed.
The Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
