 2. The learned counsel appearing for the

 petitioner states that as directed by this Court the
 respondent Caste Scrutiny Committee has issued a
 validity certificate and in view of this nothing
 survives in the petition.

 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has an

 apprehension that the respondent college may not accept
 the validity certificate as it is being tendered after
 two years of seeking admission and, therefore, this
 Court may direct the respondent institution to accept

 this certificate issued by the Caste Scrutiny

 Committee.

 4. We appreciate the apprehension expressed by the
 learned counsel for the petitioner for which the
 petitioner cannot be held responsible. The fault
 clearly lies on the part of the Caste Scrutiny
 Committee which was scrutinising his caste claim for
 issuing the validity certificate. Therefore, we direct
 the respondent institution to accept the validity
 certificate if the same is tendered within a period of
 a week’s time of passing of this order.

 5. With these observation, the petition stands

 dismissed as infructuous.
