1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner
fairly states that the principle controversy in the
present case has already been answered by a Full Bench
decision of this Court dated 21/12/2006 in Original
Side Writ Petition No.2544 of 2004. In view of the
Judgment of the Full Bench we dispose of the Writ
Petition by setting aside the Notification dated
24/3/2005 and grant liberty to the petitioners to bring
it to notice of the concerned authority that the
Notification dated 24th March, 2005 has been set aside
and that the election schedule be announced in
accordance with the Full Bench decision. Writ Petition
is accordingly disposed of with the above observations.
2. Parties are left to bear their own costs.
