In this case the impugned order was passed against Shri Shantilal Nahar under the provision of FERA. However, the appellant expired on 15.02.2008 for which the death certificate has been placed on record. The appeal was thereafter filed by his wife on 10.10.2008 although she has not filed any application for substitution of the legal representatives, nor has at any stage been allowed by this tribunal. They were directed by the Bench on a number of occasions to do the needful. However, the same has yet not been done. On the last occasion i.e. 17.01.2019 the counsel sought one month time to file the application for substitution. However, till today it has not been done.
Under these circumstances, the appeal is abated.
