Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased tomay be to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of the writ of MANDAMUS declaring the action of the 4th Respondent herein in demanding payment of life tax of Rs. 8,35,371/-against the Petitioner's Hyundai IONIQ 5 RWD - an electric SUV Vehicle operating with battery with VIN / Chassis No. MALKM81AUPM002505 A and Motor/Engine Number No. EM17P1C6281D under A.P. Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 2021and consequently not processing the Application No. AP23060593048900 dated 05.06.2023as being arbitrary, illegal, unjust, without jurisdiction, contrary to provisions of the A.P. Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 and contrary to electric Policy 2018-23 notified vide G.O.Ms.No.74 INDUSTRIES and COMMERCE (Pand I) DEPARTMENT dated 08- 06-2018 andG.O.Ms.No.99 INDUSTRIES and COMMERCE (Pand I) DEPARTMENT dated 24-8-2018 and G.O.MS.No. 70 TRANSPORT, ROADS and BUILDINGS (TR.I) DEPARTMENT dated 27-12-2018 besides beingviolative of the fundamental rights of the Petitioner guaranteed under Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and to consequently direct the 5th Respondent herein to process the Application No. AP23060593048900 dated 05.06.2023 and to issue certificate of registration to the subject vehicle in accordance with the law in the name of the Petitioner herein without demanding the road tax and pass any such
