This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:

“…to call for the records relating to and in connection with the impugned G.O.Ms.No.6, TW (Ser.A1) Department, dt.02.02.2017, G.O.Ms.No.7, TW (Ser.A1) Department dt.02.02.2017 and G.O.Ms.No.8, TW (Ser.A1) Department dt.02.02.2017 of the 1st respondent and set-aside the same by declaring them as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to promote the applicant to the post of Executive Engineer either on in-charge basis or regular strictly as per his eligibility with all service and monitory benefits with interest to pass such other orders…..”

Sri S.Bhaskar, the learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no further relief is required in this matter as the petitioner had retired from service.
