The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for the renewal of his passport and also sought correction of his date of birth, father’s name and latest address. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation through his Counsel on 15.10.2025, enclosing photo copies of the relevant supporting documents. However, the respondent authority has not yet considered the said representation.

The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner intends to travel abroad, and as such, the 3^rd respondent would have to consider the representation of the petitioner and renew the passport enabling him to travel abroad.

Sri. T.Niranjan, the learned Standing Counsel for the Central Government, takes notice for the respondents and submits that the petitioner must personally approach the 4^th respondent along with the original documents, upon which the 4^th respondent would consider the same and carryout necessary corrections and renew/reissue the passport in accordance with the applicable rules.
