Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in opening and continuing rowdy sheet against me and paying domiciliary 7 visits to my house asking repeatedly to appear before them illegal, irregular, without jurisdiction and violative of provisions of Andhra Pradesh Police Standing Orders and offends articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently quash the rowdy sheet No. 225/2015 and not to interfere with my liberty in any manner in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with

the following prayer for:

“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in opening and continuing rowdy sheet against me and paying domiciliary visits to my house asking repeatedly to appear before them illegal, irregular, without jurisdiction and violative of provisions of Andhra Pradesh Police Standing Orders and offends articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently quash the rowdy sheet No. 225/2015 and not to interfere with my liberty in any manner in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders as this Honorable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and to pass.…”

Heard Sri M. Sapthagiri, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the cases registered against the Petitioner were ended in acquittal. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioner in the vicinity, rowdy sheet No. 225/2015 was opened against the Petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that no cases are pending against the Petitioner.

5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is allowed and the rowdy

sheet No. 225/2015 opened against the Petitioner is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
