This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents No.2-5 in taking action on petitioners complaint dated 10.08.2021 and also 23.08.2021 and further action of the police authorities in harassing the petitioners to withdraw the complaint made by them is illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14, 21 of the Constitution of India.”

2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, on receipt of the complaint from the Petitioners, on enquiry, Police having found that the matter is of civil nature and there are civil disputes pending between the parties, have not registered any case.

3. Sri P.Narahari Babu, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit

that the Court may pass appropriate orders.

4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
