1`. The Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the

Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is filecl on behalf of the

petitioners/accused Nos.4 & 5 ,seeking regular bail in Crime No.03

of 2025 of Pedabayalu Police Station, ASR District.

A case has been registered againstthe petitioners herein and other accused for the offences punishable under Sections 111 (2)(b) of BNS and 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 24.01.2025 at

09.00am, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation Of GanJ-a, S.I. of Police, along with staff, reached Lingeripettu Village Junction and found three persons in suspicious circumstances. on seeing police, the said three persons tried to escape. Then, police apprehended them and on enquiry they disc'losed their identity particulars as that of Al to A3 and police found 220kgs of Ganja in their posseslsion. The contraband was seized and the accused were-arrested and got remanded to judicial custody on 24.01.2025.

.Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf, of the accused and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.

Perused the record.

A perusal of the material on record goes to show that the

petitioners'were arrested on 24.01.2025. Since then, they are in judicial custody. This Court granted bail to the accused No.3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that

major Part Of investigation iS completed except, filing Of Charge-

¶56

sheet.

ln view of the aforesaid reasons, this court is inclined to grant

¶58

bail to the petitioners/accused Nos.4 & 5 herein, on the following conditions.

(i) The petit-IOnerS/accused Nos.4 & 5 herein shall be released on their executing a personal bond for Rs.10,00O/ (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties for a like Sum each tO the Satisfaction Of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Paderu;

(ii) On release, the petitioners/accused Nos.4 & 5 shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e. onl every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 05.00
