The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C)/under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) has been filed by the Petitioner/Accused No.6, seeking quashment of the proceedings pending against him in C.C.No.6280 of 2023, on the file of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 509, 506 r/w 34 of IPC in Cr.No.279 of 2023 of Suryaraopet Police Station, Vijayawada City.

Heard Sri D.Venkateswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of, dispensing the presence of the petitioner before the Trial Court.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.

Considering the submissions made and a fair look at the material on record, since this is not a fit case for quashment, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the presence of the petitioner/accused No.6 before the
