The present Contempt Case has been filed complaining of the noncompliance of the Order of this Court dated 06.05.2022 in W.P.No.12181 of 2012. Vide Order dated 06.05.2022, this Court had directed the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner to the post of Sweeper-cum-Cleaner on the temporary basis in the Branch office of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Tadepalligudem as per the instructions of Life insurance Corporation of India Employment of Temporary Staff Instructions,1993 and to pay salary of Rs.3,900/- per month to the Petitioner for the work of sweeping and cleaning as per the section 3 of the Minimum Wages Act.

It is stated that the Respondents have filed W.A.No.762 of 2022 challenging this Order dated 06.05.2022. It is also stated by the both the Counsel that the Writ Appeal bearing W.A.No.762 of 2022 was dismissed on 16.09.2025 and the Order passed by the Ld. Single Judge had attained finality.

The Respondents have filed Counter-Affidavit. The said CounterAffidavit is sworn by Respondent No.1. Para-4 of the Counter-Affidavit is usefully extracted herein:

“4. I further submit that immediately after disposal of the writ appeal, I have implemented the order of the learned single judge by engaging him as Sweeper-cumCleaner and paying Rs.3,900/- per month and also paid the difference amount up-to-date (Vide Annexure) (in page 9 of the Counter-Affidavit)”

Since the Respondent No.1 had filed sworn Affidavit indicating that the Petitioner has been appointed as Sweeper-cum-Cleaner in compliance with the order of this Court, this Court is of the opinion that no further consideration

is necessary in this Contempt Case inasmuch as the order of this Court has been complied with.
