This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the 5 th Respondent university in not considering the explanation submitted by the Petitioner institution on 16.10.2023 pursuant to the impugned show cause notice vide RU/CDC/Bed-32432/SCN Affiliation Withdrawal/2023-24 issued by the 5 th Respondent on 11.10.2023 and further not granting affiliation for the academic year 2023-24 thereby disabling the Petitioner institution to participate in the ensuing EDCET 2023 counselling being conducted by the 2"'^ and 3'^' Respondents^as being arbitrary, illegal and consequently direct the^{5‘'^Respondentto} grant affiliation to the Petitioner institution.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned^counsel appearing for the respondents.

This Court passed interim order on 15.02.2024 directing the respondents 2, 3 to permit the petitioner institution^{toparticipateinthe} APEDCET 2023 counselling, pending disposal of the Writ^Petition.

When the Writ Petition is taken up today, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the University has informed this^Courtthat in pursuance of the interim orders grated by this Court,^the petitioner Institution was granted affiliation on 29.02.2024,^{hencethecauseinthe}

Writ Petition does not survive, thereby prayed to close the Writ Petition.

The same was also admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
