ORDER:
The present Criminal Revision Case is filed againstthe order, dated 04.06.2014 in Crl.M.P.No.153 of 2014 inC.C.No.69 of 2013 passed by the learned Special Judge for theTrialofACB Cases in Rayalaseema Region at Kurnool, wherein thepetition filed by the petitioner under Section 309 of Cr.P.Ctocancelthe schedule fixed from 16.06.2014 to 01.07.2014 and fixthenext schedule on any other convenient date preferably inSeptember 2014 was dismissed by the trial Court.
- A perusal of the information furnished by the Registrygoes to show that the main case i.e., C.C.No.69 of 2013 was disposed on 15.12.2021 and the accused was convicted and sentencedto suffer rigorous imprisonment for a period of three(03)yearsand shall pay fine of Rs.3,00.000/-, and in default ofpaymentoffine, accused shall undergo simple imprisonment for a periodofthree (03) months for the offence punishable under Section13(2)read with 12 (1) (a) of PC Act, 1988 and therefore, thecause in the present criminal revision case does not survive andthematter would become infructuous.
- Accordingly, the present Criminal Revision Case is
dismissed as infructuous.
