The present criminal petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.256 of 2018, dated 07.12.2018 of Kowur town Police Station, West Godavari District. The said crime was registered for the offences punishable under sections 417, 420 r/ w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860(for short “I.P.C”). 2. The 2nd respondent lodged a complaint before the police on the allegation that the petitioners/accused have collected an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- for each candidate, saying that they offer jobs to the children of the complainant. Basing upon the said allegation, the police registered the aforesaid FIR. 3. The Apex Court, after considering the plethora of citations. has laid the guidelines for quashing the FIR/complaints, in the case of Nihanka Infrastructure Private Limited vs. State of Maharastra^. Following the said judgment and reiterating the same guidelines, the Apex Court has passed an order in the case of State vs. M.Maridoss and anotheri and the guidelines at paras 13.5 and 13.15 and at para 11, which reads thus:
