The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ISi filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos. 1 and 2, seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.222 of 2020 on the file of Chittoor Taluq Police Station, Chittoor Distnct, registered for the offences under Sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

- Sri T.Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the notice which was sent to RespondentNo.2 returned unserved with an endorsement ‘insufficient address’.
- As per the office note, notice sent through Court also returned as ‘no such addressee’.
- At this juncture, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that charge sheet is filed in this matter, whichisnumbered as C.C.No.714 of 2021 on the file the Court of III Junior Civil Judge, Chittoor.
- Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that petition may be closed giving liberty to challenge the charge sheet.
- In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is closed. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
