Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction o more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not empanelling the petitioner for the post of "Temporary PTS" in respondents bank is illegal and consequently direct the respondents to empanel the petitioner in respondents' bank, for the post of "Temporary PTS" and pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances.

Petition under Section 151 CPC is filed praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to empanel the petitioner in respondents' bank for the post of "Temporary PTS" pending disposal of the writ petition and pass ■ such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances.

ORDER;
When the matter was taken on 16.03.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was posted to 23.03.2023. When the matter was called on 23.03.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was posted to 31.03.2023, under the caption of "for dismissal".
Today, when the matter was called at 10:30 A.M., there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. As such, the matter was passed over and even at 02:15 P.M., there was no representation. It appears that the petitioner is not evincing any interest in the present case.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand
