ORDER:
This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking to issue a order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not releasing the scholarship amount of petitioner’s son inspite of sanction by 2nd respondent in the year 2019 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to release the scholarship amount of petitioner’s son.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
During hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the 2nd respondent vide orders dated 04.04.2019 has sanctioned an amount of Rs.10,00,000/-. Despite the sanctioned orders, the respondents have not released the amounts. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

The 2nd respondent has filed counter affidavit. In the said counter affidavit it is stated that as per the enquiry report received from Vigilance and Enforcement Department, Sri Sanka Siri Sailendra Subba Rao is found eligible and the required budget will be released by the Government and in turn the amounts due to students will be released immediately after producing required valid documents by the students as per guidelines.
Considering the averments made in the counter as well as in the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition Is disposed of directing the respondents to release the scholar ship amount of petitioner’s son as per the sanctioned order of the scholarship dated 04.04.2019 of the 2nd respondent within a period of Eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
