This Contempt Case is filed aggrieved by the nonimplementation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 20263 of 2021 on dated 23.11.2021 and the under taking given by the respondents 5 to 7 herein, pursuant^tothe order dtd.03.01.2022 made in I. A. No.5 of 2021 in W. P. No.20263 of 2021, wherein this Court passed the following order:

“... the petitioners are directed to vacate the subject^tank on or before 31.12.2021, as stated by the counsel appearing for the petitioners and as stated in the afifdavit filed by them and it is also made clear that this order will not prevent the official respondents from taking appropriate action in accordance with Section 14 of the Coastal Aqua Culture Authority Act, 2005, after issuing^noticeand opportunity to the petitioners, if need be...”

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for Fisheries appearing^for the respondent/s, that the respondent has filed additional affidavit stating that the respondents 5 to 7 herein have themselves stopped voluntarily doing prawn culture and as such, the respondents herein could not take any action,^as it is

not necessary. In view of the same, prayed to close the Contempt

Case.

Recording the above submission, since the respondents⁵ to 7 already stopped the prawn culture, the Contempt^Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
