ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Sec.482 Cr.P.C., by the Petitioners/Accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.37/2015 of Nizampatnam Police Station, Guntur registered for the offence under Sections 498-A, 354 and 323 r/w 34 IPC.
None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.37/2015 of Nizampatnam Police Station, Guntur has been completed, charge sheet has been filed and the same was numbered as C.C.250 of 2016 on the file of the Court of Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Repalle and filed a memo submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Nizampatnam Police Station, Bapatla District, to that effect.
In that view of the matter, nothing survives in this criminal petition for adjudication which was filed to quash the F.I.R. Therefore, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh petition seeking quash of charge-sheet if he feels aggrieved by the same. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
