COMMON ORDER:-

As all these revision petitions relate to non-disposal of applications filed before the trial Court, they are being disposed of by this common order.

The petitioners in all these revision petitions are said to be persons, who are entitled to receive compensation on account of acquisition of their lands, properties and structures thereon. It is the case of the petitioners that they had initially been granted compensation by the Land Acquisition Officer and being aggrieved by the quantum of compensation, the petitioners had approached the Court for enhancement of compensation which resulted in litigation going up to the Hon’ble Supreme Court wherein finality has been achieved in regard to the quantum of compensation payable to the petitioners.

The petitioners have now approached this Court on the ground that the trial Court was refusing to pass orders in the applications filed by them for issuance of cheques relating to the amounts deposited by the Acquisition Authorities to their respective accounts in the Court.

These applications had been filed on 07.09.2020 and more than a year has elapsed, since the date of filing of these applications. The petitioners further contend that the learned Government Pleader appearing for the Land Acquisition Authorities had also filed counters and additional counters stating that the respondents in the said

applications do not have any objection for the issuance of cheques in favour of the petitioners.

The pendency of these applications, especially, in land acquisition proceedings, affects the rights of the displaced persons. An expeditious disposal of such applications is necessary for ensuring that there is a speedy redressal of their complaints regarding compensation.

In the circumstances, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of with a direction to the learned Senior Civil Judge, Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District to pass orders on the applications set out above within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to say, orders shall be passed after taking into account the material placed before the learned Senior Civil Judge, Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District in accordance with law. There shall be no orders as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
