CONTEMPT CASE No.262 of 2021

ORDER:-

The present Contempt Case is filed for non-compliance and violation of the orders, dated 30.07.2020 in W.P.No.12716 of 2020 wherein this Court disposed of the said Writ Petition with the following direction:

“ In view of the above submissions, with the consent of both the counsel, the Writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage without going to the merits of the case, the 1^st and 2^nd respondents are directed to consider the representations of the petitioner for considering the mining lease to an extent of Ac.78.35 cents in Sy.No.370/1 of Itikyala Village, Kolimigundla Mandal, Kurnool District, and pass appropriate orders on the application made by the petitioner as per rules within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.”

Despite the above directions of this Court, the authorities have not complied the same. Hence, the present contempt case is filed. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after receipt of notice of contempt case, the respondents have considered and disposed of the representation of the petitioner and passed order on 19.02.2021.

In view of the above, the Contempt Case is closed.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand

dismissed. No order as to costs.
