ORDER :

Heard Sri V.V.L.N. Sarma, learned counsel for petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue representing respondent Nos.1 to 3 and Sri I. Koti Reddy, learned Standing Counsel, representing respondent No.4 and with their consent, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Admittedly, individual notices are served on the petitioners by the respondent No.4 directing them to surrender the lands which are in their respective possession, which according to respondent No.4 are part of the ‘Grama Kantam’. Learned counsel would submit that though the impugned proceedings are styled as notices but they are in the form of order directing the petitioners to surrender the lands of the petitioners, within seven (07) days and thereby principles of natural justice is denied to them as they were not given opportunity to submit their objections/reply.

Having found reasonability in the submission of learned counsel for petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to treat the proceedings dated 05.01.2020 as show cause notice and give reply to those notices, within three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In such a case, the respondent No.4 shall pass an appropriate order strictly in accordance with law expeditiously. Till such exercise is completed, the

possession of the petitioners in respect of their respective holdings shall not be disturbed.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall

stand closed.
