ORDER:

The sum and substance of the case of the petitioner, as urged by the learned counsel for the petitioner, is that the Tahsildar, Munagapaka Mandal, Chittoor District – 4^th respondent herein, vide proceedings in Rc.No.380/2012/L, dated 29.09.2012, handed over an extent of Ac.0.45 cents in Sy.No.160 of Melupaka Village, Munagapaka Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, to the headmaster of the 6^th respondent school for the purpose of playground and now the same is sought to be utilized for the purpose of constructing Rythu Barosa Kendram.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue that the subject property is grama kantam land and an extent of Ac.0.10 cents, in toto, is only needed for Rythu Barosa Kendram and Village Health Centre.

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the land is being used for the purpose of playing games and the same cannot be utilized for any other purpose. It is also the submission of learned counsel that the petitioner herein approached the District Collector by way of a

representation; so also a representation was submitted to the Mandal Revenue Officer.

In order to have a quietus for the issue, having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition giving liberty to the petitioner herein to submit an appropriate representation before the District Collector, Visakhapatnam – 2^nd respondent herein, within a period of two days from today for redressal of the grievance. If any such representation is made, the same be verified and appropriate action be taken/orders be passed strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a week thereafter.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications, if any pending, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
