The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Senior Mate in the year 2016; the residents of the village gave false statements, before the social audit team in the social audit conducted in the village on 07.08.2019 that the Senior Mate made musters on benami names; based on the said statements, respondent No.1 issued show cause notice as well as suspension order on 31.10.2019, to which he submitted explanation on 20.11.2019; in the remarks column, it is stated that, in the Praja Vedhika, a decision was taken to recover an amount of Rs.4,79,445/- but, no enquiry was conducted for the charges alleged; when the Grama Panchayat conducted Grama Sabha, the persons who gave statements before the social audit team did not attend, therefore, it has to be assumed that the job card holders gave false statements before the Social Audit; the impugned proceedings dated 31.10.2019 are passed temporarily suspending him from duties and directing to recover Rs.4,79,445 /-; and assailing the same, the present writ petition is filed.
