5. I have given my anxious consideration to the F.I.R. and the record available in the C.D. file. The facts undisputed would show that marriage between A1 and deceased was held on 17.04.2019 and she committed suicide on 19.06.2019 i.e., within two months after marriage. Whether she committed suicide because of the impotency of A1 and unbearable torture meted out to her by A1 & A2 for additional dowry or because of her earlier marital affair with another person as alleged by A1, can be known only after a full-fledged investigation. It is true that the photos showing the deceased with another person, filed along with the bail application, may give some strength to the contention of A1. However, at this initial stage of investigation, no comment can be made on the merits of the case. As the matter stands, there is a strong prima facie accusation against the petitioner-A1, who is the prime accused in this case. Investigation is at the inceptional stage. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant bail to him. So far as the petitioner-A2 is concerned, she is the mother of A1 and the only allegation against her is that she along with A1 demanded additional dowry from the deceased and thus, harassed her. Having regard to the fact that she is a woman and an aged person, bail is granted to her.
