The instant writ petition has been filed inter alia for the following relief :

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents no.2 and 3 to decide petitioner's representations dated 05.02.2026 (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition) by an speaking and reasoned order within a stipulated period of time. (ii) Award the cost of the writ petition to the petitioner as against the respondents."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 05.02.2026 within the stipulated period.

No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending consideration.
