At the hearing, counsel confined the relief to expeditious disposal of the pending representations, and the learned Standing Counsel stated that the claim would be examined in accordance with law if the petitioner approached respondent no. 3 with all relevant records. Heard Sri Sheo Ram Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Fuzail Ahmad Ansari, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

The instant writ petition has been preferred, inter alia, for the following reliefs:

"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No.2 to release the amount of compensation to the petitioner in pursuant to the award dated 12.10.2017 for the acquisition of land being Plot Nos.26Gha and 26Pa of Village Basani, Pargana Dhoos, Tehsil Mughalsarai, District Chandauli within the period so stipulated by this Hon'ble Court alongwith interest at the rate of 9% P.A. (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition).

ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No.2 to pass reasoned and speaking order upon the representations dated 05.02.2026 and 13.03.2026 pending before it within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and communicate the petitioner the copy of the order so passed to the petitioner (Annexure Nos.3 and 4 to the writ petition)."

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his relief only to the extent of expeditious disposal of petitioner's representations dated 05.02.2026 and 13.03.2026, which are pending before the respondent no. 2.

Learned Standing Counsel clearly submits that in case the petitioner approaches to respondent no. 3 along with all relevant records, definitely

the claim set up by the petitioner would be examined in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, no useful purpose would be served keeping the petition pending consideration, accordingly, with the consent of the parties, we find it appropriate that the petitioner may file a fresh representation ventilating all his grievances before the respondent no. 3 along with a certified copy of this order within two weeks from today, who shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months thereafter, if there is no legal impediment, but certainly after giving ample opportunity of hearing to the stake holders.

With the aforesaid observation, the present writ petition stands disposed of .
