The petitioners, who are six in numbers, have approached this Court by filing this writ petition with the prayer to direct the respondent Nos.3 to 5 to relieve the petitioners from their present schools and to permit them to join their respective transferred schools pursuant to the transfer order/list dated 8.8.2025.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that primary schools where the petitioners have been working have merged with other composite schools, the details are as follows:

The petitioners have been transferred by the order impugned showing them surplus after the merger of the lead-schools with the merged schools, which is arbitrary as when once school is merged with the other, the total number of students and teachers have been sent together. Accordingly, there is no surplus or deficit list without realizing which, the petitioners have been transferred.

Though counter affidavit has been filed bringing the instructions on record, but query in respect of number of students and teachers in the merged schools is not there.

Counsel for respondent-BSA requests 10 days’ time to obtain instructions in the matter.
