Heard Shri Ashish Raman Mishra, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Pankaj Srivastava, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State of U.P. and Shri Mohd. Talib Khan, Advocate holding brief of Shri Pankaj Gupta, the learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha.

By means of the instant petition filed in public interest, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction for removal of encroachment over public land bearing Gata No.61 measuring 0.2020 hectare situated at Village- Bedaura, Pargana- Hishampur, Tehsil- Kaisarganj, Bahraich, which is recorded as Nistbachansthal in compliance of an order dated 11.01.2023 passed by the Tehsildar, Kaisarganj, Bahraich in Case No.1895 of 2021 titled Gaon Sabha Bedaura v. Awadhram under Section 67 of Land Revenue Code 2006 in pursuance of provision contained in Section 460 of U.P. Revenue Court Manual.

On the basis of written instructions, the learned Additional Chief Standing Standing Counsel has stated that notices have already been issued for removal of encroachment on 18.02.2026 and further action will be taken in accordance with law expeditiously.

A copy of written instructions is taken on record.
