In compliance of the order dated 28.04.2026, the alleged detenue Smt. Sapna has been produced by Sub Inspector Mohit Kumar Singh and lady Constable Sweta from Police Station Behta Gokul, District Hardoi.

The instant petition has been filed by Smt. Sapna through her husband Dhyanendra Maurya stating that Smt. Sapna has illegally been detained by her father Ram Kumar (opposite party no. 4). It has been pleaded that Sapna has married Dhyanendra Maurya on 26.03.2026 but her father is opposing her marriage with Dhyanendra Maurya.

Smt. Sapna has categorically stated that she is in love with Dhyanendra Maurya, both of them married each other by exchanging garlands in a temple and they will perform their marriage ceremony as per Hindu rites very soon. Sapna has categorically stated that her father has forcibly detained her, she is major, her date of birth is 01.01.2004, her father has detained her against her wishes and she wants to live with Dyanendra Maurya.

In view of the categorical statement made by Smt. Sapna, she is set at liberty to join the company of Dyanendra Maurya as per her wishes and she has actually joined the company of Dyanendra Maurya.

The writ petition is allowed in terms of the aforesaid order.
