Heard Mr. Sunil Kumar Srivastava, the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned AGA representing State-respondents 1 to 3.

Petitioner- Shivji Ram has approached this Court by means of present Criminal Misc. Writ Petition for a writ of mandamus commanding respondents 2 and 3 to conclude the investigation of Case Crime No. 23 of 2026, under Sections 137(2), 87, 352, 351(3) BNS, P.S.- Bairiya, DistrictBallia, arising out of the FIR dated 18.01.2026 lodged by the first informant i.e. the writ petition, expeditiously and impartially within a time period fixed by this Court.

On the matter being taken up, learned AGA submits that investigation of aforementioned case crime number is still going on.

Upon perusal of the record, we find that a period of more than three months have elapsed from the date of lodging of the FIR. However, in spite of above, the investigation of concerned case crime number has not been brought to its logical end.
