1.Heard learned counsel for the appellant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The instant criminal appeal has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 19.03.2026 passed by Shri Amit Kumar Pandey (H.J.S.), Forth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bahraich convicting and sentencing present Appellant in S. T. No. 192 of 2004 (State Versus Anand and another) arising out of Case Crime No. 360 of 1999 under Sections 307 of I.P.C. registered at Police Station Kaisarganj, District Bahraich convicting the Appellant under Section 307 of I.P.C. for 10 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs. 10,000/-.

An application for a short-term bail application has been filed by the applicant/appellant on the ground that the marriage of his daughter is fixed on 20.04.2026, therefore, he may be released on short term bail for arrangements and to participate in the marriage of his daughter .

The learned AGA submitted that the factum of marriage of daughter of the appellant which is fixed on 20.04.2026 has been verified from the police station concerned. He raised no objection for releasing the applicant/ appellant on short term bail on account of marriage of his daughter.

Considering the rival submissions of learned counsel for the parties and the grounds taken in the application for short term bail, it is directed that the applicant be released on short-term bail for a period of one week from
