1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State Respondents.

2. This petition has been filed with the following main prayers:-

"I. To issue a writ, order or direction in the
nature of mandamus commanding the opposite
parties (specially O.P. No.3) to release the
amount of Rs.2,99,775.00/- (Two Lakhs Ninety-Nine
Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Five) forthwith
along with interest @ 18% p.a., till date of
actual payment, in favour of the petitioner, in
the interest of justice.

II. To issue a writ, order or direction in the
nature of mandamus commanding the opposite
parties to decide the representation moved by the
petitioner, which is still pending as contained
in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition."

3. Learned Counsel representing the State Respondents has objected to the maintainability of the petition as he says that the dues which the petitioner claim are not admitted. He has produced before this Court

instructions dated 17.09.2025 sent by Chief Medical Officer, Balrampur.

4. At this stage, learned Counsel representing the petitioner says that Prayer No.II relating to a direction to the Chief Medical Officer, Balrampur, to decide the representation of the petitioner, may be granted by this Court.

5. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Chief Medical Officer, Balrampur, to decide the representation of the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.

6. It is clarified that we have not adjudicated upon the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
