Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide his appeal in respect of caste certificate of respondent no.2.

Grievance of the petitioner is that the aforesaid appeal has been filed before respondent no.1 on 25.06.2025 but even after expiry of sufficient period, no order has been passed on it so far.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that the appeal of the petitioner would be decided by the concerned authority, in accordance with law, expeditiously.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the aforementioned appeal of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
