1. Heard Shri Upmanyu Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Anurag Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent.
2. Present petition has been filed seeking a writ of prohibition prohibiting the respondent/authority to proceed with Case No.2585 of 2024.
3. No material exists to demonstrate that the authority concerned has no jurisdiction, as such, the prayer cannot be granted.
4. Present petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed with direction to decide the pending case being Case No.2585 of 2024 (Col. Vijay Bajpai v. Col. Rattan Singh) positively within a period of four months from today.
