Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer:

"a. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent No.3 to release the entire retiral dues of late Rama Shanker Ram, Collection Peon, with 18% interest from the date of his death 03.06.2017 in favour of the petitioner without any further delay of time so that the justice may be done to the petitioner: otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury.

b. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2024 pending before him since long back within stipulated period by a speaking and reasoned order so that the justice may be done; otherwise the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury (Annexure No.9).

It is submitted by learned counsel for the representation of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent no.3. The direction may be issued for expeditious disposal of the same.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that representation of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby directed that the representation dated 17.10.2024 pending before respondent No.3-Up Zila Adhikari/S.D.M., Rasra, District Ballia, be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
