Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is a complainant in Complaint Case No. 204 of 2024 (Amit Kumar Vs. Bahadur Murali Lal) under section 138 N.I. Act, Police Station George Town, District Allahabad/Prayagraj, which is pending before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court no. 7 Allahabad.

It is stated that the accused have not appeared in the said proceedings yet, and therefore, no substantial progress has been made in the said case and the case is being adjourned for one reason or another. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that a direction be issued to the learned trial court to decide the said case as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the concerned trial court is directed to take all appropriate steps including coercive steps for securing the presence of the accused. After the accused appears in the proceedings, the trial court will make all endeavour to decided
