The present petition has been filed for the following main relief:-

" (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the Opposite Parties to produce the detenue/Petitioner namely Anvesha Kushwaha with the illegal detention of opposite party No.4 & 5 and she may be set free at her liberty from the illegal detention of opposite party No.4 & 5 forthwith."

Considering the averments made in the present petition and documents in support thereof, on 03.06.2025 this Court directed to issue notices to opposite party nos. 4 and 5 and thereafter on 08.07.2025, this Court passed the following orders:-

The present petition has been filed for the following main relief:-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing the Opposite Parties to produce the detenue/Petitioner namely Anvesha Kushwaha with the illegal detention of opposite party No.4 & 5 and she may be set free at her liberty from the illegal detention of opposite party No.4 & 5 forthwith."

Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is ready to settle the dispute, which occurred on account of matrimonial discord, amicably by way of mediation, as such, the matter may be referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court so as to carve possibility of amicable settlement of dispute between the parties and to show the bonafide, he says that the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount to the tune of Rs.1,25000/- before Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, within one week.

In view of above, it is provided that the matter be placed before Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 30.07.2025. The petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. One Lakh and Twenty Five Thousand, before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on or before 18.07.2025, which shall be released in favour of opposite party no. 4/Smt. Maya Maurya, forthwith.

List/put up this case before this Court on 13.10.2025 as fresh alongwith mediation report."

Today when the case was taken up, Sri Mohammad Waqar Khan learned Advocate, holding brief of Sri Firoz Ahmad Khan, learned Counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to press the present petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed.

To the aforesaid prayer, learned AGA has no objection.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
