Instant petition has been filed praying for a mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to take legal action and also take immediate cognizance of the FIR dated 17.06.2026 registered vide Case Crime No. 0081 of 2025 under Sections 87, 137(2) of BNS, 2023, Police Station Husainganj, District Lucknow and also the minor daughter of petitioner should be handed over to her.

At the very outset, learned AGA on the basis of averments contained in the counter affidavit states that a charge sheet dated 14.07.2025 has been submitted before the supervisory authority.

Upon the same being pointed out learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not intend to press the writ petition and prays that the same may be dismissed as withdrawn.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
