Sri Siya Ram Verma, learned counsel for the petitioner appears and submits that the petitioner being aggrieved by the order dated 04.09.2025 passed by Additional Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate-Ghaziabad (respondent no.3) in Case No. 147 of 2025, under Section 2/3 of U.P.Control of Goondas Act, 1970, P.S. Indirapuram, Commissionerate Ghaziabad has filed the Appeal No. 40 of 2025 (Akbar Vs. State of U.P.), under Section 6 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970 before the respondent no.2/ Commissioner Meerut Division Meerut. The petitioner is aggrieved by non disposal of stay application whereby the order passed by respondent no.3 is prayed to be stayed as the petitioner was on externment for a period of six months. Hence the present writ petition.

Learned AGA is present for the State-opposite party no.1.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondent no.2/ Commissioner, Meerut Divison Meerut shall dispose of the appeal and stay application at an early date.
