The present contempt application has been preferred for alleged non compliance of the interim order dated 12.03.2024 passed by this Court in Writ A No. 1910 of 2024. The relevant extract of the same is quoted hereinbelow:-

"6. In the meantime, respondent no. 3, Deputy Director, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Pallia, is directed to ensure the payment of minimum of the payscale to the petitioner regularly every month in the light of judgment in the case of Rakesh Shukla (supra) and the arrears will be considered at the time of final adjudication of the present writ petition."

In the present case, the compliance affidavit has been filed by the respondent on 16.12.2024 enclosing therein the copy of the order dated 07.12.2024 granting approval for payment of minimum of the pay-scale to the applicant, copy of which has been enclosed as Annexure No. C-1 to the compliance affidavit.

Learned counsel for the applicant prayed for was granted four weeks' time for filing objection against the compliance affidavit by order dated 16.12.2024. After the expiry of four weeks' period, the case was listed on 04.02.2025 and it was asked from the learned Standing Counsel that whether minimum wages has been given to the applicant in compliance of the order dated 07.12.2024 or not.

Today, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received has submitted that the payment has been made to the applicant in the month of January, 2025. The copy of the document i.e. pay slip for the month of January, 2025, has been produced during the course of argument (which is taken on record), whereas till date no objection has been filed by the applicant.

In view of the facts and circumstances stated hereinabove, the interim order passed by the writ Court has been complied with as minimum of the pay scale has been paid to the applicant.

The present contempt application is hereby dismissed.

Notice, if any, stands discharged.
