CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. 1043 of 2024 (Court No. 17, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench), Order Date 6.1.2025, before Hon'ble Manish Kumar, J. Applicant Kirti Verma had raised this contempt application seeking compliance with the judgment and order of the Writ Court dated 27.09.2023 passed in Writ A No. 7013 of 2023. The opposite party, Shri Pratap Singh Bhagel, Secretary, U.P. Basic Education, Allahabad, filed a compliance affidavit, which was taken on record. Counsel for the respondent submitted that the writ judgment had been complied with: an order dated 04.01.2025 had transferred the applicant from District Hardoi to District Unnao. Counsel for the applicant submitted that though the transfer order had been passed the applicant had yet not been relieved; counsel for the respondent then submitted that the B.S.A. would immediately pass the order of relieving from District Hardoi to join at District Unnao in compliance of the transfer order dated 04.01.2025. Finding that the judgment and order of the Writ Court had been complied with, the Court held the present case to have become infructuous, dismissed it as infructuous, and discharged the notice, if any, issued.
