Heard Ms. Ayushi Mishra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been filed with a prayer to issue a direction/ order to the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Pratapgarh, to decide Civil Suit No.3100103 of 2004 expeditiously, within the stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit is pending since the year 2004 and the plaintiff is a senior citizen of 81 years of age. An order is desired to see the disposal of his suit in his lifetime. The delay in disposal of the suit occurred on account of long delays in proceedings of the Survey Commission, transfer of the case from one court to another and the file pending before the vacant court for years together. Still, there is no expedition in the hearing and disposal of the suit.

Keeping in view the limited prayer made in the petition and also the fact that the suit is pending for more than two decades and still no effort is seen to decide the same in an expeditious manner, it is directed that the court below shall take every effort to hear and decide the same as expeditiously as possible, without granting adjournments to any of the parties on sufficient grounds and
