Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shikhar Anand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

This petition has been filed with the following main prayer:-

"a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned letter dated 17-02-2024 and letter received through e-meail dated 18-06-2024 (Contained as annexure no.5 and 7 respectively to the present writ petition) and further be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 and 3 to reconsider the candidature of petitioner for his appointment as retail outlet dealer for the Location No.1337 Village Sarya, Tehsil Dhaurahra, Ishanagar to Khamariya Road, District Lakhimpur Kheri, U.P."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the H.P.C.L. prays for and is granted three weeks' time to file counter affidavit.

One week's time thereafter shall be available to learned counsel for the petitioner to file rejoinder affidavit.
